Mr. Carlton Smith, President & CEO is responsible for the growth, vision, leadership and the forward progress of his company Distinguished Duo Inc, as it spans across nationally.

Mr. Smith brings 25 years of real world experiences in law enforcement, security protection, distinguished dignitary protections, executive protection, protection advanced coordination, investigative skills and multi-level management leadership skills to his client base. The staff at Distinguished Duo Inc, is held to the highest standard ethics and is trained to be courteous, professional, effective, accurate and discreet.

10 years of Mr. Smith's 25 years in the security industry were with the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington DC. He served three years as Field Training Officer (FTO) assigned in the patrol section of the Police Department. Doing that three years assignment, Mr. Smith was charged with the overall responsibility of trainee instructing and teaching new police officers recruits the important skills needed beyond the "text book" training received in the police academy, to the everyday world of becoming a certified police officer on the nation's fourth largest police department in the United States.

Mr. Smiths, has continued to possess the understanding of continuous training within the security transportation industry by becoming a certified chauffeur through PAX training and the NLA ( National Limousine Association ).
